O Laxusu
Laxus dlouhodobě poskytuje podporu lidem, kteří se ocitli v obtížné životní situaci, zejména těm, jejichž život ovlivňuje závislost. Organizace poskytuje široké spektrum služeb, jako jsou terénní programy, kontaktní a poradenská centra, adiktologická centra poradenství a terapie nebo preventivní programy ve školách. Laxus klade důraz na dostupnost služeb a individuální přístup ke klientům, které vnímá jako partnery při řešení jejich situace. Současně se věnuje i vzdělávání odborníků, kteří pracují s lidmi v náročných životních podmínkách. Laxus poskytuje sociální a adiktologické služby na území Královéhradeckého, Pardubického, Středočeského a Libereckého kraje a Kraje Vysočina.
I letos nás můžete potkat na festivalu Rock for People! Jsme potěšení, že nás organizátoři opět přizvali, abychom pomohli přispět k bezpečnějšímu průběhu festivalu. Naši pracovníci budou na místě každý den od 10 do 21 hodin.
Na festivalu nás potkáte přímo v areálu či v kempu – poznáte nás podle batohu a úsměvu nebo u našeho stánku v Safe zóně. Jsme tým připravený naslouchat, pomoci nebo si jen krátce promluvit, když budete potřebovat. Ať už budete mít otázku, zažijete nepříjemný moment spojený s užíváním alkoholu či jiných látek, nebo vás bude zajímat více informací o tom, co děláme, jsme tu pro vás. Letos si u nás navíc můžete rychle a spolehlivě otestovat pití na GHB, ketamin, Rohypnol a další látky. Připravené budou i krátké kvízy, díky kterým možná zjistíte něco nového.
Naším cílem je, aby si každý návštěvník festival užil bez úhony a zbytečných karambolů. Zajistíme i základní podporu v krizových situacích. Budeme spolupracovat se zdravotníky i bezpečnostním týmem. K dispozici budeme mít různé informační materiály a pomůcky pro bezpečnější užívání.

About Laxus
Laxus has long been providing support to people who find themselves in difficult life situations, especially those whose lives are affected by addiction. The organisation offers a wide range of services, including outreach programmes, contact and counselling centres, addiction counselling and therapy centres, as well as prevention programmes in schools. Laxus places strong emphasis on the accessibility of its services and an individual approach to clients, whom it sees as partners in resolving their situations. At the same time, it is also involved in educating professionals who work with people facing challenging life conditions. Laxus provides social and addiction services in the Hradec Králové, Pardubice, Central Bohemian, Liberec and Vysočina regions.
You can meet us again this year at the Rock for People festival! We are happy that the organisers have invited us back to help contribute to a safer festival experience. Our staff will be on site every day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
You can find us directly in the festival area or campsite – you will recognise us by our backpacks and smiles, or at our stand in the Safe Zone. We are a team ready to listen, help, or simply have a short conversation whenever you need it. Whether you have a question, experience an unpleasant moment related to alcohol or other substance use, or simply want to learn more about what we do, we are here for you. This year, you can also quickly and reliably test your drink for GHB, ketamine, Rohypnol and other substances. We will also have short quizzes prepared where you might learn something new.
Our goal is for every festival visitor to enjoy the event safely and without unnecessary trouble or harm. We also provide basic support in crisis situations and cooperate with medical staff as well as the security team. Various informational materials and safer-use supplies will be available.
