O Laxusu
Už 30 let pomáháme lidem, kteří se ocitli v náročné životní situaci. Podporujeme ty, kterým do života vstoupila závislost. Jsme tu i pro rodiče, kteří si nevědí rady, pro děti a dospívající, kterým nabízíme prevenci rizikového chování přímo ve školách, vzděláváme profesionály, kteří se o lidi v nesnázích starají. Pracujeme v terénu i v našich centrech např. v Hradci Králové, Pardubicích, Svitavách, Náchodě a jinde – prostě tam, kde nás lidé potřebují.
Letos nás můžete potkat i na festivalu Rock for People, který stejně jako Laxus slaví 30 let 🙂. Jsme potěšení, že nás organizátoři přizvali, abychom mohli pomoci udělat festival o něco bezpečnější. Naši teréňáci budou na festivalu každý den v odpoledních a večerních hodinách.
Na festivalu nás potkáte přímo v areálu či v kempu – poznáte nás podle batohu a úsměvu. Jsme tým, který je připraven naslouchat, pomoci nebo jen krátce promluvit, když budete potřebovat. Ať už budete mít otázku, zažijete nepříjemný moment spojený s užíváním alkoholu či jiných látek nebo jen budete chtít zjistit víc o tom, co děláme – jsme tu pro vás.
Naším cílem je, aby si každý návštěvník festival užil bez úhony a zbytečných karambolů. Zajistíme i základní podporu v krizových situacích. Budeme spolupracovat se zdravotníky i bezpečnostním týmem. K dispozici budeme mít různé informační materiály a pomůcky pro bezpečnější užívání.

About Laxus
For 30 years, we have been helping people who find themselves in difficult life situations. We support those affected by addiction, as well as parents who are unsure how to help, and children and adolescents to whom we offer prevention of risky behavior directly in schools. We also educate professionals who care for people in need. We work both in the field and in our centers in places like Hradec Králové, Pardubice, Svitavy, Náchod, and other locations – simply wherever people need us.
This year, you can also find us at the Rock for People festival, which, like Laxus, is celebrating its 30th anniversary 🙂. We are pleased that the organizers invited us to help make the festival a bit safer. Our field team will be at the festival every day in the afternoon and evening hours.
You’ll find us at the festival grounds or in the campsite – look for our backpacks and smiles. We are a team ready to listen, help, or just have a brief chat if you need it. Whether you have a question, experience an unpleasant moment related to alcohol or substance use, or simply want to learn more about what we do – we are here for you.
Our goal is for every visitor to enjoy the festival without harm and unnecessary setbacks. We’ll also provide basic support in crisis situations. We will cooperate with the medical team and security staff. We’ll have various informational materials and tools for safer substance use available.
